Top-tier acting talent can elevate a thriller from good to unforgettable. Netflix and Prime Video are currently streaming seven outstanding suspense films anchored by incredible performances from some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Tom Hardy stars in Havoc (Netflix), a gritty crime drama. Hardy plays a homicide detective who must delve into the city’s dark underworld to find a politician’s missing son, all while grappling with his own past.

Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett face off in Black Bag (Prime Video). This spy thriller sees Fassbender’s MI6 agent given the task of investigating suspected turncoats, a mission that becomes a personal hell when Blanchett, his wife, is named a suspect.

John Goodman gives a chilling performance in 10 Cloverfield Lane (Prime Video). He plays Howard, the owner of a bunker who “saves” a young woman (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) from a supposed apocalyptic event, but his motives are deeply questionable.

Elsa Pataky takes the lead in Interceptor (Netflix). She stars as a resilient Army Captain who must use all her skills to defend a missile interceptor station from a coordinated terrorist attack aimed at launching stolen nuclear weapons.
