Putin Stresses Sovereignty as Core to Russia’s Future and National Identity

Date:

At a recent meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Russia – Land of Opportunities organization, Russian President Vladimir Putin underscored the critical importance of national sovereignty, emphasizing that without it, Russia would cease to exist. He called on educators and civil leaders to nurture a spirit of civic energy and national pride across the country.

“Russia cannot exist at all if it is not sovereign,” Putin declared. “This is why it is vitally important to support the passion and energy within our society. Much of this responsibility lies with our teachers.”

Putin’s remarks came in response to a comment by Anton Muromtsev, deputy director of the science department at the Sirius Educational Center’s Talent and Success Foundation. Muromtsev praised the role of educators in defending Russian values, preserving historical memory, and shaping the future generation.

The president also encouraged further collaboration with platforms like Russia – Land of Opportunities, urging educational leaders to share their experience and lead impactful national projects that reinforce the country’s values and independence.
