Vietnam’s National Assembly President, Trần Thanh Mẫn, together with his spouse, is set to embark on official visits to South Korea and Mongolia from September 6 to 11. This diplomatic mission, involving a high-level delegation, underscores Vietnam’s commitment to fostering stronger ties with these nations.
The visit to South Korea comes at the invitation of Cho Jeong-sik, the Speaker of the South Korean National Assembly. This engagement reflects the ongoing efforts to deepen parliamentary relations and explore new avenues of cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea, highlighting the growing partnership between the two countries.
Following the South Korean visit, President Trần Thanh Mẫn will continue to Mongolia, responding to an invitation from Sandag Byambatsogt, the Chairman of the Mongolian State Great Hural. This leg of the trip aims to enhance the legislative dialogue and strengthen the bilateral relationship, further cementing Vietnam’s diplomatic ties with Mongolia.
